KORRA BOOK 3 CREW CARICATURES OF RYU
We have a much bigger in-house crew these days, with full design and storyboard departments like we used to have on Avatar. Ryu couldn’t help himself with all of these new faces to parody and skewer, so he surprised us a few weeks back with a motherload crew caricature (top). Bill Rinaldi and a few folks had the idea to band together and get Ryu back with our own compilation of caricatures of him (bottom).
Ryu Ki Hyun drew this “Team Avatar” (alternate title: “Brykekiquim”) caricature of himself, Joaquim, Mike, and me sometime back during Book 1. I look evil, as usual.
Maybe he’ll do a Book 2-era version with Lauren in it too… “Brykekiquimren”?
Today, in a storyboard meeting, the ever-caricaturing Ryu Ki Hyun drew Mike/Bolin, Me/Mako, and Joaquim/Meelo.
I don’t know Ms. Allis, but I like that she decided to illustrate Miyazake’s words.
