Just messing around with some brushes that Samantha Kallis showed me (she is a really amazing artist and currently one of the Nickelodeon Artist Fellows). I enjoy how different brushes, even virtual ones, cause me to draw differently. Every day is a struggle to get some style into my drawings, so I’m always searching for that tool that is going to help me get a little closer.

I’ve said a million times that I’m a huge FLCL fan, but I also really loved the art style in the manga adaptation. So this is a (somewhat crappy) piece of fan art for both the show and the manga.
