My current music video/song fixation is “Sever” by the enigmatic, Swedish, viral music/video/art/performance project iamamiwhoami.

Making a video for every song on an album has always been a dream of mine, and somehow this art collective has made about a feature film’s worth of top notch videos for roughly two albums worth of material, all before releasing even a single! I have no idea where they got the budget for this, but I’m glad they did. Watching all of their videos and their site-specific performance is like getting a rare view into a world where art isn’t hindered by economics and time constraints. I want to go to that world. Is it in Sweden?

Disclaimer: This particular video is about as risqué as a Sears catalog, but some of their other works are a bit edgier. Giancarlo was offended by her dirty socks.
