My current band fixation is Warpaint, and their incredible album The Fool. This video is from their Rough Trade Session EP. Haunting vocals, perfect production, killer drumming, and awesome guitar/bass lines. I’m pretty late to the party, so hopefully everybody already knows about them. The Fool is perfect for lying in the dark by yourself, listening to every little nuance on headphones––something I haven’t done much since my teens/20s, but this album motivates me to spend that kind of quality time delving into a recording again.
